Workshop "Cortical Inspired Non-holonomic Control for Imaging”

The aim of the workshop is to gather people working in the field of mathematical neurophysiological modelling of the mammalians visual cortex, both from a theoretical and applied point of view. From a modelling point of view, particular focus will be given to the framework and the mathematical tools classically used to derive and analyse these models such as functional lifting, PDEs, geometric control theory etc. On the side of applications, several examples confirming the effectiveness of these models on several imaging problems, such as inpainting, pattern recognition, shape denoising etc. will be given.
