Post-doctoral researcher in mathematics

I am currently a FSMP post-doc at the Laboratoire Jacques-Louis Lions of Sorbonne Université (Université Pierre et Marie Curie). I am working in collaboration with Bruno Després and Frédérique Charles.

PhD thesis

I defended my PhD on 20th September 2017 at the Institut Camille Jordan of the Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1. During my doctoral studies I was working under the supervision of Francis Filbet and L. Miguel Rodrigues. My thesis manuscript is entitled

"Asymptotic and numerical analysis of kinetic and fluid models for the transport of charged particles"

and can be found here (introduction in french, body in english). Slides of the defense (in french) can be found here.

Research interests

I am mainly interested in the analysis of partial differential equations and the conception of structure preserving schemes for their numerical resolution.

Keywords: Analysis of partial differential equations (PDEs), kinetic theory, parabolic PDEs, Vlasov-Poisson-(Fokker-Planck), entropy methods, hypocoercivity, asymptotic behaviors, hydrodynamic limits, plasma physics, finite volume methods, semi-lagrangian schemes, positive polynomials...
