Titre de l’exposé :
Numerical issues for MHD simulations in the Jorek code
Résumé :
The Jorek code is a project between the CEA, IPP and Inria which aims to
simulate the ELMs for the ITER project. Firstly we introduce the reduced
MHD models implemented in the code. Secondly we will propose a quick
description of the code and the numerical methods (spatial and time
discretizations, preconditionning, linear solvers... ) used.
After this introduction we propose a new time discretization and a new
preconditionning based on the L. Chacon work’s. To finish we will propose
some considerations on the preconditionning, stabilization, discretization
of anisotropic diffusion operators in the Jorek code.
