Le Grand Prix Servant 2012 de l’Académie des sciences a été attribué à Jean-Yves Chemin, membre du Laboratoire J.-L. Lions, professeur à l’UPMC. Le prix Servant est un prix décerné chaque année par l’Académie des sciences alternativement dans le domaine des sciences mathématiques et dans le domaine des sciences physiques. Il a été créé en 1952 et est devenu grand prix thématique en 2001.
